Prescription Service Form

Our prescription service is designed to provide repeat prescriptions for medication which have been previously prescribed for you by your doctor.

Your usual treating Doctor will make a final assessment before your order is confirmed. If your doctor thinks that you need a face to face consultation, you will receive a phone call from our friendly reception staff to arrange a suitable appointment with your doctor to get your prescription.

A fee will apply to each request, this amount will only be charged to your credit card once your request has been approved and processed by your doctor. Please be aware that payment is required prior to your script being released.

FAQ:

Can I get Schedule 8 Controlled Drug (narcotic) medications through QuickScript?
No. Schedule 8 Controlled Drug medications will not be prescribed, you will need to arrange an appointment with your usual doctor. It is inappropriate to prescribe any such medication in this manner due to the potential for addiction and misuse.

Do I get any repeats on my prescription?
Repeats are always in the discretion of your doctor.  It is possible to request repeats using our service, however, it is up to the doctors discretion.

What are the benefits?
The ultimate benefit is the convenience to patients. This allows patients who have an ongoing condition and know what medication they need, to be able to request a prescription from their usual doctor without having to physically visit the practice. This is particularly useful for patients seeking prescription refills for medication they have previously been prescribed.

How will I know if my request has been approved ?
Our reception staff will send you a text message to advise that your prescription request has been approved and ready to collect or has been sent directly to your requested pharmacy.

How will I know if my request has been declined ?
Our reception staff will contact you via phone to advise you and arrange a suitable appointment for you to see your usual treating doctor to get your required script.

Why is my regular doctor not on the list of doctors?
If your doctor is not on the list, your doctor requires an appointment to be booked in order to prescribe you, your requested prescription.
